Keira Knightly is obviously very accustomed to the high-fashion world of Hollywood and big-budget movie premieres, so it's perhaps not surprising that she would make these comments about Silicon Valley billionaires. But I doubt she has any idea how she's coming off in making these statements. For many workers in the tech industry, the slacker friendly, casual-dress-is-okay attitude of tech companies is a source of pride, not of shame.
Yes, Keira Knightley is focusing too much on materialistic views of the billionaires in Silicon Valley. Keira should be worrying about what involves her, and not what billionaires feel comfortable in. If you are a billionaire, I believe you have earned the right to do whatever you want and be proud of it as long as it is on the correct side of the law.
Billionaires in Silicon Valley make up the modern so-called philanthropists who put money into their own foundations to achieve a tax-exemption status. This would be fine except that the foundations push their own agendas of targeting the middle class. These billionaires also lobby constantly to raise taxes on the middle class yet time and time again avoid paying taxes themselves at all costs.
Recent Keira`s interview makes a very bad impression. I doubt anyone voluntarily can be so non-professional and speaks out such weird statements without taking into consideration the party and the guests present at it. Either Keira is looking for some cheap PR campaign or she is really ill-mannered, judging by her description of the hosts and the guests.
