  • Knowledge is a tool and wisdom is the craft in which the tool id used.

Many people mistake knowledge for wisdom because they are intimately related, and this is unfortunate because they are quite different in an important way. Knowledge is the accumulation of facts and information. Wisdom is the synthesis of knowledge and experiences into insights that deepen one’s understanding of relationships and the meaning of life.
"Knowledge comes but, Wisdom lingers." Was rightly quoted by Alfred, Lord Tennyson.

  • Yes. Because knowledge improvises our thinking skills and encourage us to explore and discover wonderful facts

I am not supporting this argument as wisdom doesnt truly support us in every thoughts of human beings. Knowledge empowers the scientific fact of mind and does help us to improvise, explore and discover new things as well as facts . In final word or to put it in a nutshell

  • Wisdom vs knowledge

Knowledge is a collection of facts, as gathered through logical thought and empirically gathered evidence.

Wisdom is the ability to distinguish between that which we know, that which we don't know, and that which we think we know but isn't true.

Without wisdom, we cannot gain knowledge, as if we think we know something, we will stop looking for it. Therefore, wisdom is more important, as knowledge only develops after we have achieved wisdom

  • Knowledge or Wisdom?

I asked my friend if she thought wisdom or knowledge is more important. She said they are the same thing, so I looked the words up.
WISDOM: to have experience and good judgment
KNOWLEDGE: to have facts and information
From the information I got they are not the same thing. Knowledge is to have facts, something that you know (it's even in the name!). Wisdom is better than knowledge because you need it to make good choices in life.

  • You need wisdom to have knowledge!

Before we discuss that we must distinguish the difference between the two.
Knowledge is the collection of facts that are gathered through logical thinking and empirically gathered evidence. Wisdom is the ability to know the difference (and distinguish) between that which we know and what we don’t know; and what we think we know but isn’t true.
Without wisdom we cannot gain knowledge- because if we think that we know something then we will stop looking for it. Consequently, wisdom is more important, as knowledge only develops after we have attained wisdom.

  • You still have to know how to use the knowledge

No, knowledge is not more important than wisdom. Knowledge is mere knowing of something the technical or physicality of it. While wisdom is having the know-how to utilize the knowledge in a useful manner. A person can be very knowledgeable in his or her area, but have no idea what to do with the knowledge.
