  • She is fighting for a very real issue

She recognizes the issue. Sexism in Pakistan. A lot of people in Pakistan believe that a womans place is in the kitchen, when there are clearly so many successful women that are actually better people than all the sexist people that believe that. Call me a feminist but i consider that a compliment. She is a hero because she has faced so many obstacles and has perservered and continued to fight for what she believes in. When she won the Nobel Peace Prize she donated all her prize money too the Malala Fund, which is working on many projects such as making it easier for married girls to get an education, helping syrian refugees get an education, helping low income girls in Kenya get better 21st century jobs.

  • Of course she is a hero.

In this world there are millions of young girls who dont get education. Malala did get education but after the Taliban took it away from her, she had to fight. Some people like I are fortunate enough to get education. How is it fair to not give girls education? Its not. She isnt the only one who thinks that bad she is one of a few people who go public with it, its common to think about these stuff in you head but to start a blog and speak up, that is sonething heroic. Especially under the conditions and the ristriction under the Taliban rules. Let alone that because of that she got shot in the face. In my opinion the most heroic thing shes done was to keep fighting and not giving up even if she was wounded physically and probably mentally too. A hero is not a person with super powers, well yeah but its also a person who is a role model and if Malala isnt a role model then i dont know who is. Because this can motivate others even though you might be young, hurt or under some sort of restriction you can always speak up. In any topic not only female education because its now or never.

  • Malala is a hero because she took a stand, nobody else took

Why is Malala a hero? Well she is a hero simply because of the hardships she faced over a very long period of time. Another reason why she is a hero, was because of her sexist area she lived in. The day she was born, nobody celebrated just because she was a girl. Her parents were also a big influence to her. In Malala's book, she clearly explains her life from birth to her life now. Many comments keep hitting the point by saying, she only got shot in the face. What is the big deal! What if you got shot in the face-it is almost like waking up from death. She just got shot in the face. JUST. Nobody else in her town, had the guts to stop anyone or take a stand. She was giving speeches everywhere, even after she knew that she was the main target for the Taliban. That is why she is a hero. Since this opinion is at the end of the website, I don't if many people will read it, but those who do, please realize that Malala is a hero.

  • Malala Yousafzai is a here

Malala Yousafzai is a true hero. She stood up for what she believed in and risked her life in the process. She created talk around the world about children's education and created the "Malala Fund" to continue to support her country. Think about it, what did any other hero do that Malala didn't. She spoke out and is forever a hero.

  • Yes cos she could potentially be the reason that girls are able to go to school.

Malala could be thew reason that us girls go to school so if that will not harm me then yes i will definatly vote for Malala and on Malalas side cos she has not done wrong so clearly she has done right. She is so a super hero guys, come on.

  • She's a hero

She's brave, all these are stupid comments, at least, she did something:speak, you guy are just in front of a computer doing nothing, be grateful bc you live in a good country without war, and more important, you have a place to live, food for eat, be grateful, is the truth.

  • Because she is

Malala opened schools for more than 200 Sirian refugees. Ham and cheese and ham and cheese and ham and cheese and ham and cheese and ham and cheese and ham and cheese and ham and cheese and ham and sheees and she is the greatest human alive. SHE IS BETTER THAN YOU!!!

  • Hell yes she is a hero

Malala is proving to be a hero because of how resilient she is towards her enemy after being shot down. She gave them no attention, she saw them as no conflict against her dreams, she gave no flying shit about what they could do to her and her passion for education. So hell to the yes she is a hero. She is a hero, an influence to me. She is an example of a hero to many others also. ESPECIALLY around the Middle East.

  • She is a terrorist and deserves to be thrown from a plane

Gunshot wound picture one left side of head
    +
gunshot wound picture 2 on right side of her head
    +
gunshot wound picture 3 no gunshot wound
    =
    Malala did 9/11
It is offensive that this terrorist is allowed to live while a young goat lovin man took the blame for her crime osama bin laden
she must be brought to justice

    From GEORGE .W. BUSH

  • The only reason she is famous is because she was shot

She for the most part does not carry too many valid points, especially in her implication that the more bad things you say about terrorists the more violent they will become. Statements like this are already pretty obvious to most people and we don't need another voice glorifying this statement.

  • She just wanted luxury

She is not a freaking hero, if she actually cared about women and education she would be with her people in her village not living like a princess in a foreign country. The women back in her village are suffering attacks from the taliban while she is enjoying her life -_- f her , she didn't deserve the nobel prize at all. I don't see how gandhi didn't receive the nobel prize but malala got it -_- seriously wtf

  • What did she even do?

Malala may have gotten shot in the head but after getting shot she ran away she went to England there is a school in Pakistan and not long ago a lot of kids were killed and a lot were injured but the injured stayed in Pakistan they are the real heros malala ran away after getting shot does that really make her a hero? Ask yourself she has a book about herself and most of the things didn't really happen all that happened was she went to school and got shot by the talaban and she has a whole book written about what exactly?

  • A hero is not someone who just got shot in the face.

All Malala did was go to school and then get shot in the face. There are christians being beheaded on a daily basis. Yet when one muslim gets injured there considered a hero. Malala did nothing to help this situation. Although she is doing something good she can go about another way without being sexist.

  • Malala isn't a hero.

She didn't do jack, she just can't take bullets to the head. She got lucky, and I think that she isn't a hero. She's just a woman who got herself away from the stove and decided to get an "education", even though she's a woman and can't do anything productive. Not a hero. Probably just had daddy issues and decided to be rebellious

  • Idk shes just not my hero
