Mental illness is something you are born with...This is like asking if blonde hair is real. There is no way it can't be real. Schizophrenia, for example, has many signs that show an unhealthy mind. I don't know if this was created to ask if people are faking it in court cases of murder or what, but yes. They are real.
Psychiatry is flawed but mental illness is very much real. Depression is one of the most common mental illnesses. But the government itself is full of mentally ill individuals. Sadly pharmaceutical giants are hindering progress in medicine by offering drugs over better remedies. Antidepressants aren't bad but big drug giants are keeping us sick in order to make a profit off of us. Mental illness isn't the only problem in society.
It's so disappointing to even see this question be posted, it's a fitting example of some of the problems with mental illness however. Everything people should just "get over" because the concept of something mentally being wrong with a person and them needing help is so demonized in our society that everybody is afraid to tell somebody they need to get better Mental illness is very real.
