First of all, American businesses should stay in America. This way there are jobs for American citizens, and consumers know that the products they are buying were not manufactured using workers who are paid unfair wages. Secondly, America already pumps millions of dollars into Juarez because of the war on drugs. America should keep its money in America.
While moving American businesses to Juarez is better than moving them to China, as they are staying in North America, it is still a bad idea for them to leave the U.S. Americans are so tired of corporations feeding on them, yet moving their tax paying base somewhere else. It's hypocritical.
It is not at all hard to question whether the recent move of a number of US businesses to set up shop in Juarez is a wise decision or not. Not at all in the distant past, Juarez was not only a very dangerous place to live, work, and do business, but it was in fact considered the murder capital of a country rife with violence and disorder. Of course one only hopes that everything goes smoothly with these businesses, but still there is certainly room for concern.
No, I do not believe moving American business to Juaraz is not a good idea because with each American business that moves offshore, it creates more unemployed people driving the economic situation worse and worse. The only chance the economy has is to keep American jobs in America and helping to support the unstable financial situation.
