Since the question is asking about President Obama's leadership, I assume his legislature success and failures will be left out.
A leader is someone who motivates, inspires, and takes his/her following in the right direction. Obama is a true inspiration, he worked from nothing to become the President of the United States. As a student, he has motivated me to work harder and reach higher with my goals.
And there is no doubt about it that he is taking this country in the right direction. He is the first sitting US President to support gay marriage, he's tougher on Terrorism than Bush and Reagan, he welcomes the Muslim faith into America, he fights for the middle class, and has helped to shift public opinion on these issues.
Sure, he has had his failures as President. But the question is asking about his leadership and President Obama has inspired people to work harder, he's pushed for what he knows his right, and he's made this country respectable to the rest of the world once again.
Thats funny!11/13/15 morning of the Paris attack Obama stated "Isis is contained". Then the attacks came. He backpedaled on the statement. Besides he exposed US anti terrorism "intelligence" is demonstrated to be worthless. That would be treason on Obamas part, publicly exposing that vulnerability... Wouldn't it? He has served this nation very poorly past 7 years
After this amnesty bill.....I think he sucks! He has not done anything forvthis economy or the actual american people. He only cares about the illegal criminals in this country! He thinks hes not hurting us, but he is! He will go down in history for being one of the traitors in the history of America!
President Barack Obama will go down in history for several reasons, none of which have to do with how great a leader he is. He is truly inspiring as the first African American president in the United States, and he is certainly a great orator. However, he has demonstrated weakness in dealing with the Republicans in the House and shown his leadership skills are not all that great.
Blaming him for the division in this country being so severe is pretty boastfully idiotic, but the fact of the matter is, as somebody that has voted for him twice I will without hesitation say if his tenure ended right now he wouldn't be even close to one of the greatest leaders of all time. He has the potential to reach that if he can get the most worthless congress of our lifetime to move in his second term, but that's a big if. Right now calling him one of the greatest leaders of all time is as stupid as saying he's a secret Kenyan Muslim.
Obama has proven nothing to the American public with the exception if all are not in agreeance, procrastination is an easy solution. While some of his political views may be helpful, I find he lacks the necessary follow through and relies on extensions. Budget cuts have been made everywhere but where it should start, at the very top. Taking drastic actions and cutting necessities without understanding the consequences, is not the ideal President for me, or anyone else in the middle class. America cannot continue to accrue debt at this rate without some fallout, and sadly it has already begun. I would like him to demonstrate just once, that he can dig us out of this hole without crushing the American population.
Obama is far from one of the greatest leaders of all time. He has not lived up to the promises he made in his first term of office and continues to make promises he won't live up to in his second term.
Obama has blamed past presidents for his inability to solve the problems of the country instead of taking responsibility for his actions. He had divided the country instead of uniting it in these troubled times.
