  • How is it Not?

There is no evidence that it isn't. I repeat, no evidence to suggest it isn't. There have been isolated incidents of finding bodies, playing in national monuments, ect. Players are being encouraged to leave the house, and that carries risks, even off of phones. The only danger is from either inattentive players or killers. And that could happen at any time or place. Google was involved in the development.

  • Mr no body

  • Sounds good but...

Although this game is encouraging us to get out of the house and move around,
"Pokemon GO!" Asks to know you on google, Including ID number on google! Also, it asks for a location and at any moment, a person can hack a database and find where you live. But, It is way easier to set up traps than that! Some people have set up traps in "pokestops" and have lured in Well over 18 victims. Also, a similar app caused Several deaths Because too many people were paying too much attention to their apps and walked right into traffic! Or they walked over stuff and tripped over things and fell off a bridge, ect.
So, even though I think it is good that "Pokemon GO" wants to encourage players to get out of the house, I think it isn't really that safe!

  • People have been unaware of their surroundings

People have been dying because they weren't aware of the places around them. Pokemon Go is made so that we could get exercise and go outside more but it is soon to be a burden. We've become addicted to the game which causes us to do extreme things. We've also been trespassing to others lawns which forces others to have self defenses. Pokemon Go isn't a safe game to play

  • Just as Kitiloin said

Any hacker worth their salt can hack past most security measures, and I doubt Google has strong enough security to stop the more determined and skilled hackers. They will be able to find out where you live and come to your house without you ever even knowing about it.

These "Lure Modules" are also a ridiculous idea. If someone can't leave the house for whatever reason or is just too lazy and drops a lure module to get Pokémon, everyone in a moderate radius now knows where you live. They know someone is there and some people may watch the house and wait for you to leave.

It is also very similar to gang wars. Fighting over territory where gyms are is very similar to gang wars, and you know someone is going to get stabbed over that. People have been stabbed for more ridiculous things. Someone who has put a lot of money into the game and thus has all the best stuff will own and easily control gyms and territory. This means that a particularly pissed off and possibly drugged up/drunk person may stab them because of this. They may even murder them to steal their phone because of all the stuff they have it on it.

Because lure modules work for everyone in the vicinity, pedos, rapists and murderers can put down a module and wait for victims to come to them. They don't have to do anything. They just put the module near their van, wait for someone to come by and grab the victim and take them inside the van. It may have only happened in a few isolated incidents, but Pokémon GO is quite new. Give it some time and these so called "isolated incidents" will either explode and happen all over the place as people abuse the system, or become quite a bit more frequent as people realise that they can abuse it.
