Is policy making and implementation too political?

  • Yes, everything having to do with policy is about politics.

We are now seeing that there is no impartial and objective action taken by those in power in Washington DC or anywhere else in the country. People are on the side of certain policies because wealthy or influential voters are for that and they are against them for the same reason. Politics in a bad way has taken over our policy making and implementation.

  • No, not really.

Policy making and the implementation of it should to some degree be political. It deals with politics and should be dealt as such. In that way I do not think it could be "too political." Overall when making policies, especially new ones people should have a right to vote and decide that way.
