Thomas Jefferson once said the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Revolution, whether bloodless or not, happens within human nature because such events have been part of our existence since Grog's army rose up against Nog's cave corps in Africa around 2 million years ago. There have always been groups that go against the established order to bring about change through forceful means. Although emotions run high during revolutions, the act of such armed disobedience against order is a reasonable and natural process.
While it is always regrettable, it is certainly true that revolution is bound to happen when the number of haves in society greatly outnumber the have nots. That is happening in the United States and in other first world countries very quickly. And yet a veneer of civility and "benefits" can keep the revolt from happening right away.
