  • Yes, The cold war never really ended

The people who are running Russian now were in power during the soviet era. Putin is former KGB member and helped cover up some of the disgusting things they did. And the Oligarchs were people big in the government before the fall and many other became big in the rapidly expanding Russian mob. In fact, Russian is commonly called "A Mafia State" because of it's ties to organized crime. Just look at Syria, it's becoming a proxy war between the Rebels(U.S.A.) and Assad(Russia). Will war break out, probably not 'cause that will most defiantly be hot, nuclear hot, but there is no denying that tensions are rising and that Russian is by no means our friend.

  • Russia has always been the enemy

If not for an impotent gas station of an economy, Putin would probably have made this fact much more clear. Russia is a gangster-controlled oligarchy, and has always been, and always shall be our enemy.
However, I'm confident that their bloated sense of bravado will be the it undoing once more. Putin embodies the kind of blind over doing it that bankrupted the small-minded Russian economy way back when. Just sit back and watch this idiot wreck the train again.

  • Confrontational tensions rising

Think about it, U.S.A. and Russia are getting confrontational in Syria, Venezuela, Georgia, Iran, China, North Korea, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and now Ukraine, Russia and the U.S. is giving support to the sides, this is gonna turn into a cold war then a world war if this doesn't stop soon.

  • They Were Never Not Enemies

Russia has always worked against American interests and vice versa. Just because the Soviet Union collapsed, doesn't mean the Cold War ended. Why do you think both sides continue to build up nuclear weapons? Why do you think Russia and China have formed alliances with Iran, North Korea, much of the Former Soviet Union, and others in an attempt to counteract NATO?

  • Russia and America ARE enemies

The reason for this is because Russia has condemned the U.S. For most of its conflicts, supported all of Americas enemies (current) and warned the U.S. Against going to war with them, Russia is also trying to counter NATO with the S.C.O. (honestly the only countries in that organization that hate America is Pakistan, Iran, China, Russia and Belarus) though India is in this organization they are just in there for getting more good Russian technology and along with Turkey and Afghanistan are Americas allies, other nations like the central Asian "Stan's" Sri Lanka and Mongolia are neutral with the U.S. Russia also banned U.S. Citizens from adopting Russians and threatened to attack all of Americas allies in Europe, and banned Americans who committed war crimes from visiting Russia.

  • 2nd best friend

After Saudies: 1st because oil profits provider, 2nd because of arms deals facilitator. If there was no Russia, it would be invented; like Israeli Mossad created Hamas to balance Palestine Front, and now Hamas launches rockets to Israel and Israeli Patriot Systems successfully destroy them - arms deals justified and always in need. Same story was with Russian S-400 deployment in Syria, after which USA and Germany recalled Patriot Sytems from Turkey for upgrade. Good deal! And more coming ...

  • No I don't believe

That I believe its just two different systems. One is always trying to have power over the other. I am not going to say which one but I am going to say that when two countries have differing views it tends to do that. But Russia should not be condemned just as the U.S. Is. Both are good countries. Russia has a great culture of people despite its politics.

  • No.

Russia is becoming more of an enemy to itself than to the United States. Russian policy often interferes with policies of the US. For example, the recent events in Syria where any European and US intervention has been consistently blocked by Russia and China. Despite these events Russia and the US seem to be compromising more and getting along fairly well. An example is the recent reduction in missiles by Russia and the US.

  • No, Russia is not becoming an enemy to the U.S. again.

No, I don't believe that Russia is becoming an enemy to the U.S. again. Though many geopolitical pundits and politicians may sometimes be convinced that Russia is an enemy, there is zero solid proof to give this conspiracy theory any credence. The only current tensions between the U.S. and Russia stem from Russia's supposed decision to help Iran refine Uranium in hopes of turning it into nuclear energy or firepower. Many leaders in both Russia and Iran have denied this, and the U.S. does not currently consider Russia as becoming the U.S.'s enemy once again.

  • No Russia is in disarray

They might want to be a superpower and a threat to anyone that stands in their way but Russia is a country that is in great trouble.

For Russia to be a threat to anyone they'd need to have things functioning better at home than they are currently by going back to old leaders for answer's like Putin Russia had assured it will be stuck right where it's at for years to come.
