Yes, scientific thinking is relevant in India just as it is relevant anywhere else. India may have many cultural and religious reasons for its citizens to be skeptical of science, but that does not mean the validity of science is truly in question. India needs scientific thinking just as much as the next country.
Why would India be any different than any other country when it comes to scientific thinking? Of all the countries in the world, India is probably the one of the most important providers of scientific thought. Many physics and mathematics professors in our high schools and colleges are from India. In this way, scientific thought and education have helped lift many Indians to a more prosperous life.
