  • No, social engineering is bad for a country

Social engineering is bad for a country because it is usually being carried out by people who have an interest in extracting or gaining something from the land or people. It’s not usually done to help transform negative situations into positive ones, it’s usually done to make someone rich, or control people and this is wrong.

  • Social Engineering by Governments

I personally think that Social engineering by any government is a bad thing and is totally contrary to the concept of limited government. According to the founding principles of the United States, the government should only exist to protect the individuals life, liberty, and property. Any social engineering that favors one group over another should be prohibited.

  • bad for the country

I personally disagree,This issue is about social engineering and the impact it has on countries productivity, and quality of life. Let me define social engineering as an act by a governmental body that forces one view or another on the general public. Let me use Political Correctness as an example. Some things should not be said in the work environment simply because they cause strife or show a disregard for others. Do we control that through rule of law or by through education of people? No matter how hard we try to believe it all people are not equal in all things.

  • No: Social Engineering is Bad for a Country

In the short term, social engineering may have benefits for elite interests or even possibly the society as a whole. In the end, however, social engineering is a form of manipulation. Such manipulation can only be done by powerful, secretive groups. This kind of division intrinsically sets up a kind of social stratification that will only be cancerous in the end, leading to decadence, corruption, and uninformed people at the mercy of a shadowy elite. The result will be primarily destructive.
