  • Technology is killing humanity and the harm far outweighs the benefits

Times change but are they for the better?
I feel we are surrounded by so much negative issues that we and our kids have become De sensitized to many things

Are the changes in line with what we think God would want - why. What is the common denominator for the destruction of our society. Is faster, quicker information making us better humans? Or is it helping people get richer (with money). Unfortunately, I think it is a necessary evil to survive in this world we live in.

It is technology which is driven by greed/power.

    Builders vs. Destroyers

Would Jesus have loved this technology. Would he be happy that he could send out an e-mail to many more than he could visit.....How easy would his job be. I don't think so I think he would rather visit and actually touch the hearts of the people in person.

  • Technology will destroy humanity.

Technology demands efficiency. Technique is relentless. People are inefficient and hinder technology . Eventually robots and artificial intelligence will replace humanity. In the meantime robots and artificial intelligence will continue to displace humans in the workforce to the economic detriment of the majority of humans. Capitalism exists solely for profit and fuels technology. Humans need to find a new way forward or perish.

  • We're becoming Zombies

As an example, "smartphone" technology has turned many into what I would call Zombies. All they do is stare into their phones every chance they get. Pecking away in restaurants, theaters, and while driving. It seems like every teenage kid in the neighborhood who was given a smartphone has had their personalities sucked out of them.

  • No, it helps us connect.

No, technology is not destroying humanity, because humans do not think and feel and love any less because there is technology. Rather, technology has helped humans connect. It has helped us communicate across borders, and understand that humanity is the same all over the world. Technology has brought us closer, not farther apart.

  • Technology is destroying humanity.

Technology is destroying humanity. When people use technology, they become more connected with people, they think, but what they are actually doing is distancing themselves from others. When people spend time with each other in public, they are just looking at their phones and not paying any attention to the people around them.

  • Technology and modern medicine helps us survive.

Modern medicine has saved countless lives and without it a little less than half of our population would be dead of disease or some sort of other injury. Most people say that technology is destroying our society but they are also just going on board with what everyone else has decided upon.

  • Technology is what makes us human.

From the first stone tool to the latest iPhone, technology has improved our lives and made us human. It is what separates man from beast, what has allowed us to survive, to have the greatest range of any species, to be entertained, to be educated, to be expressive, to be ourselves.

Tehnology has covered up all the "holes" that the body has. Don't have wings? Take an airplane. Don'tt have a loud shouting voice? Use an iPhone. Missed out on seeing that special event? HAve someone take a picture.
