Terrorism is not most thoroughly to blame for the deterioration of America's infrastructure. The attack of 9/11 occurred while the economy was starting to decline anyway. I do not think that terrorism has anything to do with what is going on with the infrastructure. I think the economy was going down anyway.
Yes, terrorism through the tears have done some pretty significant damages to buildings. That is no excuse for collapsing bridges, roads riddled with sink holes and giant pot holes. It is not an excuse why we hardly ever upgrade our transportation system. Face it, America is cheap when it comes to infrastructure.
It is my opinion that terrorism is not to blame for America's deteriorating infrastructure. It may play a role in the problem, but it is not the sole culprit behind the weakening infrastructure of our country. I feel that the lack of public support for local institutions that maintain our infrastructure is main reason for its deterioration.
The deterioration of America's infrastructure is America's fault. We do not pay enough to build better infrastructure in out country. The government focuses to much money in certain areas and not on what really matters. The current infrastructure of this country is very weak compared to what it could and should be.
Even though terrorism has been a big problem for the United States of America and is one of the reasons for the countries deterioration of its infrastructure, it is not the only thing to blame. The collapse of the economy of the United States' financial system is the main reason.
