  • All the policies of the U.S. are unsustainable.

The U.S. currently has more than 18 trillion dollars of debt. The unfunded debt is well over 200 trillion dollars. The U.S. funds military operations in over 130 countries across the world, engages in war in countries that don't want the U.S. to be there, wastes money on useless projects, ships jobs overseas, punishes manufacturing, alienates countries that will stop using the U.S. dollar to trade, etc. ad infinitum. Every policy the U.S. has made since possibly the end of WWII has been to destroy the U.S. dollar, which by the way, is a fiat currency made by an UNELECTED, UNACCOUNTABLE, UNCONSTITUTIONAL entity called the Federal Reserve. It is a matter of time before something else replaces the U.S. dollar as the world reserve currency.

  • Oh It's inevitable!

Once feminism is finished with America, oh trust me, it will! There is no real money in America anymore, with a unemployed rate of 25%, with many Americans looking for jobs but unable to get one (especially men). Also, of all the 350 million Americans, 3/4 of Americans are looking for a job. Everyone from 17-60, Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, old and young, men and women looking for a job in a economy where business are collapsing and closing, and not to mention the many jobs that are sent over seas its impossible for everyone to find employment. The U.S. dollar is hanging on by a thread and is not even backed by gold! The U.S. economy is basically living off the support of borrowed money and U.S. bonds that they wont be able to pay back when its time, so they resell more bonds to pay off others who's time it is to collect. Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. Once the world finds a way to get off the American dollar and not mind if it crashes and Americans realize they been scammed the dollar is finished!

  • Yes it is.

The value of the U.S. dollar is anchored in trust. As a fiat currency, the U.S. dollar isn’t linked to any physical reserves, like gold or silver; it’s just paper. For the U.S. dollar to be worth anything, it has to be backed by an economy people have faith in. Otherwise, the U.S. dollar would collapse. People Need to wake up and Realize whats going on in the Real world

  • Yes, it will, we have too much debt.

I think that it is indeed safe to say that the American dollar will indeed crash at some point. While I don't think that this crash will take place in the very near future, it is sure to happen at some point in the future. We have too much debt.

  • The dollar is losing worth.

As more and more money is being spent on trivial government programs and overseas manufacturers, we are going in to debt. The money is not circulating, so therefore to pay off this debt, money presses are used to print more money. More money doesn't solve anything. All it does is obviously devalue the money already in circulation. Unless we begin to cut our spending, it won't be long before the dollar is nothing more than a piece of paper. You'll need a wheelbarrow to hold the required currency to buy dinner.

  • Yes, the american dollar is going to crash.

Back in the 1800's , a child was tickled to have a shiny new penny. Now a penny is basically a throw away. Now the America dollar is heading in the same direction. It is becoming obsolete. A dollar is only good for a stripper, or so it seems. The American dollar is about to be put to bed.

  • No, the American dollar is not crashing any time soon.

There are too many factors that would have to happen in order for the dollar to crash. The discussion for this would take too long to outline. However, the dollar is being backed by one of the most powerful nations in the world, and some would argue, the most powerful. So if there was any threat to the dollar, the American dollar would get the support of the most powerful government in the world. Besides, Japan and China would not allow the crash because then their American investments would become worthless.

  • Not any time soon

For several reasons, one there is no option or replacement for the dollar today. Maybe in the future 20 years from now the RMB could replace the dollar. China could cause the dollar crash or maybe Japan but why? You don't destroy the economy of your biggest customer. It is in the best interest of the global economy to keep the dollar alive. So I don't see it happening anytime soon. Why would debt cause the dollar to crash, I don't get that, the people holding the debt would be hurt as much as the USA if the tried to collect. One day there will be a replacement for the dollar and if we don't stop spending and get our house in order we are going to become a third world country. Its 20 years away, but 20 years goes fast.
