Is the Bank for International Settlements hurting the global economy (yes) or helping it (no)?

  • Yes, Banks are at fault

I think the fiscal issue with this, is the fact they are suppose to balance the issue. They have not been able to do so, and we are all feeling it. I think banks have no clue what they are doing, but In their defense these are rough times, and nothing is going to fix it.

  • The Bank for International Settlements is helping the global economy.

The Bank for International Settlements is helping the global economy. The Bank for International Settlements helps stabilize the global economy by setting monetary goals and regulations which in turn effects foreign exchange rates and the stability of foreign currencies. The Bank for International Settlements also enforces banking policy among the central banks of foreign countries.

  • I think it's helping.

The good thing about the Bank for International Settlements is that it stops people from getting scammed and ripped off, and even when people do, they are able to get settlements for the wrong doings. This helps the global economy, because people are more assured of their success in doing internaitonal business

  • Bank for International Settlements is OK

The Bank for International Settlements is a good thing for the global economy. As long as it continues to loan and grant the money freely and helps those organizations and States that borrow the money. Since it seems to be doing just that it is helping the global economy more than hurting it.
