Yes, the Dean of St Paul's Cathedral is right to oppose disability tests brought in by the UK Government, because traditionally, the church is given special exemption from government laws. The church should not feel like it has to follow UK laws, and the United Kingdom should look the other way when a church does not follow their laws.
Tests could cut short disabled people's lives. Government policies forced some of the most deprived members of society to shoulder the heaviest burden of national debt created by the super-rich. We protect the poorest and most vulnerable in our society, if we don't want does that say about us to the rest of the world. We are supposed to be a caring democracy instead this government is tarnishing our worldwide reputation!!!
