Is the educated class of India becoming selfish, socially callus, and obsessed with material gain?

  • Yes, the educated class of India is becoming selfish, socially callus, and obsessed with material gain.

The educated class of India is becoming
very selfish. This is evident in recent media reports that have
revealed the widespread problem of rape amongst the population. Even
the highest members of Indian society are not immune from this
problem. Several members of India's parliament have been accused of
rape and sexual assault. What could possibly be more selfish than
someone forcing another person to have sex with him? I say nothing is
    more selfish than that.

  • No, they are having a basic existence.

No, the educated class of India is not becoming selfish and socially callous, because they are not that wealthy. In India, the middle class is only just emerging. It can hardly be said that the people in India live a life that is lavish or that is too wealthy. The Indians still care about social justice. They are not over the top.
