  • Example: CHRISTIANITY vs. ISLAM

Islam is spread through violence. Christianity is spread through missionaries and preaching. Now which one is the largest religion in the world? Christianity. Christian writings and epistles were the main way that the religion was spread. Examples are Paul's epistles in the bible. They were written to different regions of the world and it was successful

  • Of Course !!

Pen is definitely mightier than sword .. The biggest example is our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) though he was an illetrate person but he knew everything a man should . He never used the sword to force people to embrace islam as he knew that violence can never make anything better though the people were his enemies and all of this was proved by the Quran the divine scripture .. It was this Book that won the hearts of the mankind and which tells the truth it is therefore said that killing or murdering someone is a crime isnt it this is based from our Holy Book , The QURAN . All the answers are in this Book . And this is only one example i wish i was in a real debate i would have given the points surely !!

  • The Pen Will Always Be Mightier Than The Sword:

I believe that the pen is stronger. Words are as strong as actions.
If someone hurts you with actions, the pain will go away. If someone hurts you with words, you'll eventually remember the hurtful words they said. Yes, the sword can kill you, and obviously a pen can't. But basically you can heal from a cut, but you can't by a word. Actually many people die from words, because they are suicidal. The words get stuck to you and they can't get removed, while a cut or scar can disappear from you. So basically what I'm saying is words are stronger.

  • Scientific age key

Yes words are better than sword. Wars have only led us to destruction but these are the words who help us having being educated. We have conquered moon,we have invented nuclear equipments and we can't neglect that solution to all problem are written in words. We are living in a scientific age,its all due to the kindness of words not sword

  • Yes the pen is mightier

The sword used to be mightier than the pen but it has been a while since that was true. Of course now the pen is being replaced by the keyboard. Which would you rather show up to war with, a sword or a keyboard that can launch a nuclear missle?

  • Personally, I fear no man, but destroying my character is definitely a concern.

You could physically assault and harm me everyday. OK, that's fine. I do doubt that it would be particularly fun, or likely feel good, but it's of much less importance to me than dragging my name and reputation through the mud, and leaving me disgraced, which could be done by "pen" yet NOT by "sword".

  • Is this even a question? Of course the pen beats the sword.

I stand with the mighty pen to oppose powers of great injustice. Violence can only make things worse. The pen is permanent and can make a powerful impact through several generations. A clash of arms do not influence the public or change ideas. It is the pen and the persuasive men behind them that do so. Think of how many people can get rallied up for good through a strong speech, video, or book. MLK and his “I Have a Dream” speech. The 30 minute video that made people believe in Kony and his army of children. Thomas Paine’s Common Sense that without it, our country may not exist as we know it. Gandhi acquired India’s independence through nonviolent protests and writing. He never used the sword to get what he wanted. All weapons can do is kill. But, on the other hand, others believe that the sword is the way to get things done. The opposition states that issues need to be acted on by physical force. Some believe the sword is the one to stop evil forces. The sword must be used to crush evil forces. However, the opposition is flawed because a wound can heal, but words last forever. Ideas on paper are scarcely forgotten, and the pen has the ultimate power to unite people and start a movement.

  • The Pen Beats the Sword Every Time

Without a doubt, the pen is mightier than the sword on a long-term basis. Bloodshed leaves a lasting impression upon witnesses, but it can only come with a negative connotation. Written words can have a much great impact upon the general population in any country or even across the world.

  • Yes, the pen is mightier than the sword.

Yes, I believe that the pen is mightier than the sword. While I am not sure who coined this phrase, the words are just as true today as they were when it was first spoken. The idea behind the phrase is that the [written] will of man will always be stronger than any physical weapon that may challenge it. The freedom of speech and press that is bestowed upon on us as Americans has the power to unite people, start a movement, even incite wars. Might and force, however, does not. The sword may be able to physically inflict more damage than a pen can, but a pen has the power to spark a revolution.

  • Sword Is Mightier

Yes the sword is mightier because do you think Hitler would have not had the war if someone had written him a letter (with a pen) would he have stopped? No there would have been someone possibly continuing up his work today. But with the sword (or in the wars case Guns and Bombs) it stopped and we are able to live in a free country to this very day.

  • Action's speak louder than words

Their I have just stated a confilcting quote. Who's author at least once in his life lived by it.This pen quotes author I can assure you did not test his theory. Now step int the ring with a few men holding a blades. You alone with your self righteousness one mans ideals against the world mind set and a pen.Hell I will even break from the quote and give you a sheet of paper. Who wins? Well many will say that's not fair "that's not its context! "We are talking long term" ok here I will give you 3 years to write the greatest speech ever writen and with this you must sway a group of people 1/4 of which is armed and has different views from you now you must sway the crowed and convence a good amount of the armed men to either lay down their arms or help your said which ever you wish to happen after your speech. Ok so you give the speech and guess what not one armed man liked it in fact you stroked the foams of heat in them and they set out to kill you and your followers trust me 5 to one odds are winable if they are armed and you are not .And they kill you and their the pen loses. Oh wait you say you wrote a damn good speech in three years and they loved it so the pen won right? Well by that look you just won by right of might and as you can see in previous examples the pen by its self is not very
fearful so did the pen win or did the pen just have more swords behind it than not?

  • Sword is Mightier Than the Pen

Think about it this way. We tried to sign a peace treaty with Germany and Japan, but Japan kept on the onslaught, so what did we have to do? Take the sword and stab it into their heart (AKA the atomic bomb). This ended World War II almost instanly. On top of that, through out history many treaties have been broken leading to bloodshed. I mean take the Native Americans for example. We had a peace treaty with them multiple times about establishing how that was their land. What did we do though, we took it from them and in retalliation, the Native Americans attacked us.

  • I thing that we all know that pen is mightier than sword!!

As we all know that Gandhi Ji fought without any weapon. And these days only those are empowered those are educated and education also represents behaviour that is very very important for everyone . In earlier wars also we had strategies. So I sum up by saying PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN SWORD.

  • The sword is mightier than the pen.

Both pen and sword could be use in positive and negative things. On
positive sides, The pen could be use if you're dealing with diplomats, and law-abiding citizens, but on the negative sides, It could also be use for forgery, power of attorney etc. Same with the sword, The sword could be use as a protector, and liberator, but on the negative sides also It could be use for killings and hurting people, It depends on who are using those things whether it is a pen or a sword, Both can be use in positive or negative ways. Both are mighty but I will choose the sword
as the mightier than the pen.

  • Sword is mightier

Imagine a battlefield. Your enemy is a knight with a sword that shines brightly in the light. You have two options: fight with the pen or the sword. Yeah, you can write gay fanfiction with a pen, but can it stab a human clean through the middle? It may stab a human, but by no means will it be clean. At least with a sword, you stand a chance. You don't even have to use the sword for offence. It can so easily be used for defending yourself

  • The sword is mightier than the pen.

The pen is for the prevention of war to teach kids in the future but tyrants will not listen to any inspirational writings and won't listen to

any rule of aw, because they are narcissists. They only listen to themselves, and these are evil people who don't feel any sympathy to

other people because they have only a very tiny amygdala, a part in our

brain thati is responsible for feeling sympathy to other people, that's

why, they will not listen to any rule of law. The sword is for the purpose

of fighting an inevitable war initiated by dictators, who wants to rule the

world just like Hitler and other tyrants.

  • The sword is mightier!!!

The sword is mightier, nobody wants to have a war but if you are being invaded by a tyrant, torturer, dictator like hitler, and other tyrants the pen won't be able to kill those evil people. I am not saying that the pen is not important, it is also important and i have high respect on miss anne frank/miss barbro karlen, for using a pen, she is my idol and my heroine and her writings will help to teach kids of every generations about the evils of racism, descrimination, and it could help in many ways of preventing those things to happen, but we need to use force when fighting those evil leaders just like what our war veterans have done, and all of them are/were all our heroes.

  • The pen maybe mighty but the sword is the mightiest of them all.

If all people would be writing pen, and no one would fight, like what our war veterans did and other war heroes of the past eras then all of us then, we could have all been conquered by hitler, stalin, and other tyrants, torturers, and dictators. Of course, nobody wants to have a war, i don't want it either, but you just don't have to give in to them
