It is good as it is but the Marriage bill should not be revised. As it is now it grants women rights to the land they farm. This bill has been around since 1997 and it is a good thing. However, the revision would take some of these rights away and would be a step backwards.
Kenya's proposed marriage bill places to many restrictions on the institution of marriage, and it infringes upon the basic rights of the country's people. Therefore, the marriage bill can't be considered a good thing and should be struck down. The country's leaders have a responsibility to protect their country's citizens.
