Is the real problem with communism this capitalist world?

Asked by: Gaurdian_Rock
  • Yes it is

Communism only fell due to the Capitalists ability to hoard more and more wealth. Communism is by far better in theory, but anti-communism propaganda deployed in the cold war makes many hate on it. Communism, without a doubt would be dominant if most of the world wasn't mislead by the Capitalists.

  • Capitalism is a virus!

Basic survival instinct was formed in humanity as the gathering of information and the passing of said information by any means necessary to the next generation, an infinite process. These concepts were created well before the ideas of trade, capitalism and such. Greed, lust and back-stabbing are the capitalist approach and solution to the passing of information by any means. These aren't HUMAN traits, rather traits capitalist societies encourage. In a communist society, a community works together to develop as a team, which can also be applied to this idea of information passing. We ensure the survival of our genes (and information) by working as small or large teams. Capitalism is the problem with the success of communism, it turns men like Stalin to corruption and ruins the equality. But like most viruses, it can be KILLED. You just need to promote communism gently and eventually people will realize it is the safer, better, fairer option.

  • Capitalism is evil.

Capitalism is absolutely the worst thing to ever happen in our society. It is by far the biggest problem with communism today. The Soviet Union fell because of Western influence, and traitors like Gorbechev. And we can't let that happen again. If you look at countries like North Korea, China and Cuba, which fight capitalism from entering the country, they are the most successful nations in the world today.

  • Most certainly that is a huge issue.

Yes, this capitalist world is a huge barrier to not just communism, but a lot of true equality movements. Propaganda has fortified capitalism with lies of equality, freedom, and democracy for ages. Most these days don't even know what communism is.

If this world weren't so capitalist, communism would be successful because the ignorance caused by capitalism(not directly, but by the propaganda reinforcing it) would not be existent and would allow for a more smooth transition to the democratic means of production.

  • Capitalists Hate Communism

Capitalism and Communism are two opposing ideas. Capitalism, a system we currently live under in the United States, is a model based on upward mobility that eventually ends with a large income gap and a stratified class system. Communism seeks to keep everyone on the same level regardless of occupation. Overall both systems are flawed as stand alone systems, but generally a person will either elect to stand by one or the other. In this flawed thing communism gets pushed out because Capitalist basically don't believe in sharing.

  • No, it is people's natural tendencies.

No, the real problem with communism is not capitalism, the real problem with communism is that it fails every time it is tried. Communism cannot work because of the tragedy of the commons. That is, a person will not work as hard or invent new things if they do not get to keep the profits of their labor.
