    Castile, pulled over by the police at a traffic stop, was asked for his license and proof of insurance, after another police officer determined he looked like someone who had just been involced in a crime. Castile told the officer he had a firearm, and reached for it, despite being told several times not to. Police officer Yanez then shot him out of self-defense.
