  • Tea Party ideas do not represent mainstream Americans

These gun-toting, bible-thumping would like nothing more than to see our system collapse so that they could rewrite the Constitution to fit their own beliefs. These people are dangerous. I'll never forget Sarah Palin's "Leave us alone with our guns and our bibles". Thank God for separation of Church and State. The Tea-Party is hiding their true agenda. What is this "Rugged self-reliance" BS anyways? You know what it is? It's a philosophy of "I got mine--screw you" selfishness that prevails in the Tea-Party. Hopefully next year during the mid-term elections, America sends the Tea-Party packing and relegates them to no more than a minor footnote in American history.

  • The Tea Party wants to restore America

Far from hurting America, the Tea Party wants to restore America to the principles it was founded on. America is a Christian nation and we believe in small government and strong family values. Obama had an advisor who had a child out of wedlock and this is a sin, this isn't family values. The Tea Party supports candidates like Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Rand Paul, Rick Perry and Ted Cruz.

  • A threat to big government YES

The Tea Party is a group of citizens around this country that have conservative ideals and have an expectation that their elected officials doors than kick the can down the road. The Tea Party is absolutely a threat to our government but not this country. The only reason such discussions like this exist is the fear that Democrats and Republicans alike have of citizens with conservative ideals coming together peacefully to organize politically to make the changes they so desire of their government.

  • The Tea Party Is Pro-Constitution and Against Excessive Government Spending

The Tea Party's motto reads "Fiscal Responsibility, Limited Government, Free Markets." Its goals are, among others, to decrease government spending and national debt as well as to strengthen the democratic system as well as make sure the values listed in the Constitution are protected. The Tea Party website tells us "Our mission is to bring awareness to any issue
which challenges the security, sovereignty or
domestic tranquility of our beloved nation,
The United States of America." Essentially, the Tea Party's core values pose the least threat whatsoever to the institution of the United States of America, as the Party itself is deeply pro-Constitution. The actions of Tea Party members will always speak louder than words, however. Whether they actually keep to their pro-Constitution creed or not is up to them.

  • Tea party movement

The tea party is the only pro constitutional body in the two party system. It is the exact opposite of a danger to the United States. It is more American that the Democratic Party and the liberal democrats. Occupy Wall Street IS A danger to liberty and democracy.

    That's all!,

  • Tea Party does not threaten America

I believe that Tea Party is not a threat to America. Although Tea Party's views may be considered extreme and contrary to those of majority of Americans, they add to the democratic process. Diverse views add to the political debate and help shape people's views to reach consensus through debate.
