State Department on Tuesday accused Israel of systematically seizing Palestinian land after the Jewish state okayed the construction of 800 housing units in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Though Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not accepted the statement issued by the US State Department, one could still not rule out the fact that what US says is right
Yes, the U.S. is correct in stating that Israel is systematically seizing Palestinian lands. Israel continues to establish settlements in Gaza and elsewhere in Palestine. The country continues to do this despite the fact that those areas are controlled by Palestine. Then, it uses military force to defend the settlements.
The long lasting Palestinian independence act which should be treated as an act of bravery by the citizens of Palestine is being treated as litter by the Israeli government who are unjustifiably seizing the land that the Palestinians have gained and earned through their fight for independence that has been going on for decades now.
Israel has its own agenda, but the US has it wrong in saying that it is systematically trying to seize Palestinian land. That land region is all disputed, as it were, so perhaps they are merely trying to retake their own birthright. Palestine has stolen much from Israel, and Israel has a right to reclaim what is theirs.
Israel has defied all odds of surviving as a state government. With the War in 1948 against the entire middle east and the 6 day war in 1967. Israelis have been our only true ally in the middle east until this "fairness of outcome" crap came along talking about the poor Palestinians.
