Is there a place in modern society for religion?

Asked by: sallyb96
  • Yes, it is not all about the supernatural

Religions like Christianity mandate visiting the sick, feeding the hungry and comforting those that mourn and there will always be a place for that. The Bible can still have meaning even if it is not literal. If people claim it is they are going to find it difficult for that to fly in modern society.

The social network/community and lunch on Sunday that religion provides can still exist. It can still be a place to find meaning. There are religions like Unitarians that have members that don't believe in god and the like but that religion still has relevance to members.
