Is there more pressure now on children to be perfect (mentally, physically, and socially) than there was in previous generations?

  • Children Are Pressured

In our day and age with global socialization I believe we all receive more pressure to be perfect mentally, physically, and socially. This applies to children and adults a like and it is something that previous generations have had to adjust to. With the internet everything is quantified and readily available to all people, rather it be good or bad.

  • Technology, technology, technology

There's more and more access to technology with this generation than there has been in previous generations. With that comes more and more stress on society. Whether it's images of the "perfect" person or more access through social media, kids are being exposed to more and more pressure and scrutiny.
