  • There is too much standardized testing.

There is too much standardized testing. When you constantly hold a child to a certain standard its whole life, you are setting the child up for failure. All their focus goes on meeting a standard, and that will carry itself through their whole life. Their future will be defined by standards.

  • There is an excess of standardized testing

In my opinion there is an excess of standardized testing. Much more can be achieved with personalized and/or open book tests that can contribute to the improvement and enrichment to the persons taking the tests. Calculating results that are derived from binary answers is not a window into someones capacity.

  • I don't think so

Standard testing is a very important skill that you need in your future. When you get to middle school, that reflects off of you and that is important to the school and your grade. It also makes you more focused for regular tests that you have to take in the future.

  • There is not enough standardized testing

It helps us keep track with our grades and what we need to improve on for the future, and with that standardized test, it is a a big wake up call. It also helps the government view whether we are becoming worse or better at the matter. Whether we need to improve for the future, or good as it is.

  • There is never enough testing

Testing is a way to keep yourself in check with how well you are doing at that point in time. It will let you know what points you need to work on and what points you don't need to strengthen as much. Having so many tests also provides you with the focus that you need to work hard to achieve success and that is a good value to have for the future.
