I think its taken a wrong turn, now im not saying Jared Leto is a bad actor an wont be able to play it im saying that the joker was a criminal who sort of didnt look like a criminal, he's a homicidal maniac but hes made it fun (im not saying i like homicides) and by the looks of the new one he will be a homicidal serial killer that it the joker doesnt have tattoos. I dont know if it will deter fans but im just saying i dont like it
The first thing that jumps out at me, perhaps because there's only one of them, is the purple glove. In most stories prior to the mid-to-late '90s, I remember The Joker wearing his purple suit and gloves. We've strayed from that more recently, and it isn't particularly cinema-friendly (at least not in a film universe that takes itself so seriously), so the glove is likely a wink-and-a-nod to that attire, without actually depicting him in it here since the odds are good if it makes it into the films at all, it will be briefly.
Fans of DC comics characters such as The Joker are very loyal and open to character changes as well as actor choices in films. Several actors have played the part of Batman, and several versions of the Batmobile have been offered over the course of the franchise's filmography. While not every Batman fan will agree with changes to The Joker, it will not cause these fans to stop following the characters, comics and films.
Jared Leto is a great award winning actor, so we should give him a chance to show this talent in his acting as Joker. Fans should realize that there have been so many movies that there has to be some kind of change. They should wait to see the movie before becoming disappointed.
Any person who had read a book and seen it put on the screen knows that there will be changes and adjustments made. Some things cannot be put on television and kept entertaining to the viewers. It is understood that the creator of the show, and the writers will add in their own little twists and turns to make it amazing in accord to their taste.
