Kangaroo culling in Australia: Is it wrong to kill an animal that has become part of Australia's identity?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • No, it's not wrong to cull.

In the United States, many people love the deer as a beautiful and graceful animal. Yet in parks and places where they are not culled they do not have enough to eat. They also cause auto accidents and get killed themselves. It is the same with culling kangaroos in Australia.

  • No, It Is Not Nationally Protected

As long as the animal is not protected nationally by an environmentalist group or a government agency, it is okay to kill that animal. Especially if culling Kangaroos is required to assist in keeping an ecosystem balance, it should be perfectly acceptable to kill those animals. It does not take away from the identity of the country, nor does it negatively impact the environment.
