Larry Flynt has sent a delivery of porn every month to every member of Congress: Is watching porn immoral?

  • Yes, watching porn is immoral.

Yes, watching porn is immoral but it is not illegal. Larry Flynt should not be sending porn to Congress. Porn, however, should not be banned. Even if porn is immoral, people have a right to engage in immoral acts which are not illegal. Therefore, watching porn can be immoral and people should still be allowed to watch it.

  • No, morals are personal decisions

While some people may decide that watching porn is immoral for them personally, morals are not something that are the same for every person. If one person finds porn immoral, another person may find it perfectly moral. These are personal decisions that are no one else's business and should not be public knowledge.

  • People can do what they want

If watching porn doesn't negatively affect the people around them, it should not matter if someone chooses to watch porn or not. Everyone has the right to do what they want. Yes, porn is not the healthiest thing, but people choose to watch it because they recognize the inherent risks in it.

  • No it's not

Once we as humans reach maturity, sex is normal. We like to have sex, view others having great sex and having sexual release. It is actually healthy, which may explain why the Congresspeople have not stopped Larry Flint's porn from coming to them. Of course we are religiously indoctrinated to think sex is limited to marriage and in some cases wrong but I think that's just an effort to keep it all in check.
