Michigan and Florida delegates in 2008 US elections: Would allotting the delegates according to national will make sense?

  • Allotting the delegates according to national will would definitely make sense.

One person, one vote is a basic tenet of American democracy and allotting the delegates exactly according to national will would definitely make more sense.A proportionate appropriation would actually demonstrate that the American democratic system would be working as it is supposed to be.Others might say that the voter is just misinformed.

  • Just Make it the General Population.

This sounds like it is more of how to rig the electorate so one party can remain in power. It does not sound like it is to make elections more fair. If politicians really want to do this, why not just make elections to where the popular vote decides all elections. Quit gerrymandering with delegates and the electoral college. Can't get more fairer than that!.
