Mitch McConnell tells opponents to get over Trump election: Will the Trump presidency further divide the nation?

  • Yes, the Trump presidency will further divide the nation.

Yes, the Trump presidency will further divide the nation. The driving force behind Donald Trump's campaign was bigotry and xenophobia. He is a master of the divide and conquer strategy, and will continue to pit members of the working and middle classes against each other in order to continue amassing power.

  • Yes, President Trump will be incredibly divisive

The election of Donald Trump has already deeply divided the country, and as we get closer to his presidency he is becoming more and more divisive. His planned policies and nominees for cabinet positions are already splitting the country and there is no indication that once he is in power that his positions will become less controversial.

  • Yes the Trump presidency will further divide the U.S.

The election of Donald Trump as President has drawn the battle lines between segments of the American public. Donald Trump does not believe in the operation of law, nor the objectivity of the Office of the President. He's already used his public stage to bully the segments of the American community the disagree with him.

  • Yes, the Trump presidency will likely further divide the nation.

Yes, the Trump presidency will likely further divide the nation. A few people are still sore losers about the election, as Sen. McConnell says, but most people who are angry have other reasons. Some are upset about the way Congressional Republicans are seemingly working in such a partisan manner and seem to have a score to settle. Others are upset with Trump's behavior. Many just see a lot of bad behavior going on all around and are saddened and scared by what they see.

  • Yes it is

Even if you think that "Oh well It's the MSM, Hollywood, SJWs, and the loud vocal minority on the far left that is dividing this nation. Playing identity politics, blaming all the world's problems on racism, bigotry, some phobia, etc. which does absolutely nothing to solve the problems, or even address them. The people that are ARE unwilling or unable to face reality, who are either completely ignorant, incompetent, or too lazy to actually look at what's real and what's propaganda by those that would see this country fall", it doesn't matter. You can believe that it's those "filthy liberals" and the "crooked Hilary" supporters ruining the country, but the fact remains that Donald Trump being in office will further divide the nation. The people that already hate republicans will hate republicans even more and will have a reason too (because of the Donald Trump election), and republicans who hate democrats will hate democrats even more and will have a reason (Democrats are getting mad at them for causing problems).

  • Yes he will

I think he will because a lot of hillary clinton supporters are super mad that she sucks and that donald trump is Way better than her. He can build a wall and make this country great again but hilary will take away guns and kill the nation.DONALD TRUMP RULES!!!!! Boom!!!!

  • Yes, Trump will most likely divide the nation.

The reason I think this is because Trump has more power than the actual democrats. Some people will argue over very important topics and the United States will be split into confusion. Just like in 1864 when the United States was split into Northern and Southern states. He can start a war with the Soviet Union Russia because of the accusations of the hacking of the US presidency of 2016. This will make half of the country happy for war and half of the country mad that they are risking people at war. This is why I think that Donald Trump will likely split the nation into two if we don't find enough solutions to many of the problems that the United States has. Trump will most likely not fix any grave problems.

  • Yes, Trump will most likely divide the nation.

Yes, Trump will most likely divide the nation. The Congressional Republicans have power over the Democrat party and so make Democrats upset. Other people are upset with Trump's attitude and his War Crazy statements. Trump has also upset Mexico and it's citizens and will most likely start a war with Mexico and will have a bloody end. Trump is indeed going to start a war with Mexico or Russia or maybe even both. How will Trump keep the nation together what our founding fathers have created?

  • It's not the Trump presidency that has divided this nation.

It's the MSM, Hollywood, SJWs, and the loud vocal minority on the far left that is dividing this nation. Playing identity politics, blaming all the world's problems on racism, bigotry, some phobia, etc. which does absolutely nothing to solve the problems, or even address them.
