No Child Left Behind Act: Does NCLB improve educational equality?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • NCLB harms educational equality.

The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) does not improve educational equality. The No Child Left Behind Act harms more students then it hurts, bringing down higher tier students would it should be helping lower tier catch up. If they wanted it to help educational equality, it needs to give more funding to schools who need it, so they can become equal to schools that are already perfroming well.

  • No, I don't think that the No Child Left Behind Act improves education because I think they should do a lot more.

I don't think that the No Child Left Behind Act improves education because I think they should do a lot more. They just increased the standards that were set without a plan of how to actually meet those standards. They just told people to "do better" without any way of making people do better.
