  • Voting still happens, but if you aren't paying taxes how can more representatives be counted?

    If you do not pay taxes, you still vote , the right to vote isn't infringed upon, but the whole point of the founding fathers was that if you are being tax you have to be equally represented. But what if you don't pay taxes, why should you have more weight on how the taxes of other states is being spent.

    Quantity vs quality, simply having more population that doesn't provide a tax base shouldn't mean the state has more representatives in the lower house.
