North Korea claims U.S. has "declared war": Should the U.S. and South Korea proceed with annual joint military border training?

  • The U.S. should proceed with joint military border training.

This is not the first time that North Korea has "declared war" on the United States. Until North Korea shows signs of action, the U.S. should carry on with business like they always do when North Korea makes such threats. North Korea seems to be more focused on South Korea at this time. As long as the U.S. doesn't physically threaten North Korea, everything will be fine.

  • Uncle Sam will do as he likes

North Korea. Just seeing those two words brings to mind its ridiculous and deluded leader, Kim Jong-un, and solidifies the very real concern that power in the wrong hands is a dangerous thing. Fortunately, for the rest of the world, Kim Jong-un and his lunatic tendencies are kept closely monitored and are no real threat, just those really bad public service announcements Jong-un produces and airs across his country. Great material for nate night comics as well.

  • The Unitd States and South Korea should proceed with military exercises

The United States and South Korea should proceed with annual joint military border training. This is in spite of North Korean claims that the U.S. has declared war. Technically, the countries remain at war since an armistice was never signed. Furthermore, these exercises have been going on regularly and are not new.

  • Yes, the annual joint military training should proceed

The country of North Korea is unstable and the military aggressive nature of the Korean leader is a good reason to keep the annual joint military border training. It is important to allow for communication between countries and maintain any normalcy in the face of the erratic behavior of Kim Jong-Un.

  • There is always a cause behind a happening

Although personally I fully agree that the military training should go on, there must be a reason for North Korea's hate towards U.S.A.
Often, news about the same topic covers different perspectives in different countries. We might as well look at both sides before blindly arguing about one point of view.
