Obama's farewell: Will Mr. Obama's farewell speech be compared to the likes of Eisenhower and Washington?

  • People will remember it.

History always remembers what a President says on their way out of office. Obama's speech really touched the people who voted for him. These are the people that came in believing that Obama would bring Hope and Change, as he promised. It's nice these people could hear from Obama one last time.

  • Yes, his speech was very presidential.

Obama took the opportunity to not only express his gratitude to the American people but to also highlight continuing issues where we need to come together in the near future. He didn't pull any punches about the danger of creating opportunities for our enemies but fighting among ourselves. He was magnificent as always.

  • No, I don`t think so.

No other POTUS in the history of this country compares with Barack Obama. This man has proven his compassion, his fairness, his love for country, and his grace and modesty. There have been plenty of other presidents that have done great things and will always be remembered, but none so humane and admirable as Obama.
