Oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge: Would drilling in ANWR stimulate the US economy?

  • Drilling is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drilling would stimulate the economy because it would create more jobs and also make us more self-sufficient. It will also increase our oil production which will lower the national debt because we will rely less on other countries for their oil. In addition, The oil we drill can be sold to other countries , thus lowering the national debt even more.

  • We should drill.

The United States is far too dependent on foreign oil. We should do anything we can reasonable do to make us less dependent on our enemies. Drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is not going to destroy wildlife. It will still be a beautiful place for tourists. If we drill, it will be productive for improvement of American life too.

  • Drilling the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge would not stimulate the U.S. economy

Drilling the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge would not stimulate the U.S. economy it would only put more money into the already full pockets of the big oil companies. The economy is always the excuse of the people who already are rich to make themselves richer. There would be a handful of blue collar workers who would make some money doing the grunt work but the economy is in more trouble then could be alleviated by a temporary oil boom. The price of gas has no real relation to the quantity of oil available, the price is set by those who own the oil. OPEC is a puppet. A joke. The Refuge would just be one more thing destroyed in the name of greed.
