Organic food: Does organic farming have a desirable environmental impact?

  • It seems to have a positive effect, yes

Natural means of production are obviously the ones that the planet is best equipped to handle, and while you may be able to dispute the specific cause, no rational person can debate that the planet is changing in a much shorter time frame than it has in any previous instance. While non-organic production may not be the primary cause for this, it's hard to imagine it helps.

  • Less Chemicals Used

Organic farming is much better for the environment as it uses no pesticides, fungicides and herbicides like conventional farms do. Organic farms make the soil healthier and produce healthier, contaminate free food. In the future as farming technology continues to improve we should try to have as many organic farms as possible.
