The younger generations are learning how to act by the way we do and what we listen to and watch. We don't act the way we should so their getting in trouble in school, their cussing people out at a young age, and they're constantly on their phone, which they shouldn't have. Plus rap and shows like the regular show teaches them how to talk. And that form of English is neither a respectable form, nor a proper form. All these problems are our fault. We stopped caring.
Every generation is convinced that the younger generation is wilder or corrupted in some fashion. In the 50s, Rock and Roll was condemned as the Devil's music, and roughly the same pattern is true of every decade since.
There are always going to be people who represent the perceived decay of society, but that just makes it all the more important to provide a worthwhile example for our youth. These things go in cycles, and the worst thing that we could do would be to condemn our younger generations, rather than showing them the way.
