Performance of US President Barack Obama: Has president Barack Obama performed well?

  • Yes he did well enough

Considering the state we were in with George W. And now, i'd say he gave it his best effort to at the very least not worsen our problems and as a whole he was a success in that regard. I think we give the president (all of them) a very hard time and don't realize how difficult a job it is trying to run a country.

  • Yes, President Obama has performed well.

David Axelrod, who was originally the president's senior advisor once joked on "The Daily Show" about some of the ridiculous things President Obama has had to face since taking office. "'The pirate has the captain. What do we do, sir?'" President Obama came into office with an economy in tatters, huge banks on the verge of collapse, two active wars, dicey foreign relations and a host of other problems. No matter where you stand politically, it is impossible to ignore the progress that has been made in relation to the gravity of the work needing to be done. One war is over. We dodged another Great Depression. The economy is on the mend. There is plenty about the president's time in office to criticize, but there is much to laud, as well.

  • No, our current President could do better.

President Barack Obama's performance is horrid. Unemployment is still high, the number of people on welfare and food stamps is at an all time high, and the roll out of Obamacare is a complete joke. Deportation is down. The President is in favor of amnesty. And while a majority of Americans are still against changing the definition of marriage, gay marriage is being shoved down our throats.
