Phil Jackson is clearly a very good basketball coach. He's won more championships than any other coach. However, he's also been one of the luckiest coaches ever. He coached Michael Jordan, who is probably the greatest player of all time. Then he coached Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, both in their prime. I think that Gregg Popovich is a better coach. He coached an all-time great in Tim Duncan, but he has won multiple championships with teams that weren't expected to win.
He is an amazing coach but he isnt even a coach on the knicks hes an executive so he doesnt really do anything. I dont think he will even coach the knicks if they asked because he knows they are terrible and doesnt want a bad thing on his resume at the end of his career.
I'm not in a position to rate Phil Jackson's coaching abilities but given his track record and resume, he appears to be a good basketball coach. He has led teams to win several titles and championships so it would be safe to say he is an exceptional coach when it comes to basketball.
Yes, Phil Jackson is a good Basketball coach. This is because of the witnessed good performance of Knicks. Knicks perform well in basketball and this is promoted by their coach. Apart from the players effort, a good coach, is the best thing that a team can have. Therefore, Phil Jackson's stay is a good thing.
Yes, Phil Jackson is an amazing coach. A man who was in charge of two possibly the best teams in NBA history is nothing short of a legend. His guidance, ingenuity has transformed the NBA style of play. His style of leading the team is being studied even in Europe. What a legend!
