President/Vice President/Governor in Indian Constitution should not be member of any political party for five years before they are nominated/contest the election.
  • These positions are supposed to be of neutral- a non political.

Of late it is observed that ruling party having majority or manage the required number, nominate people of their choice, who do not even deserve a position in that party itself.
Some of the Governors do change their position from non active to active politics. How such people can take a impartial stand which is good for the state/country?
If any political personality want to be a Governor, one should leave active politics for five years before his/her selection be made. Once became a Governor, will not return to any party. Out of all Governors. Candidate for President or Vice President to be elected.
