Puerto Rico statehood in America: Is language a problem in this debate?

    If English was the official language of the United States, then yes, there would be a language problem in this discussion. That's something that a group of people wants to be the cases, but the fact of the matter is it currently isn't. Because of that, one can't say that language would be an issue in this decision.

  • Language no Problem

    Language is no barrier in the debate of Puerto Rico getting statehood. It is the fact that America has added as many countries that is needed to make a strong union. Language barriers does not exist because Spanish is becoming a second language to the American children and American adults.
