Quebec City mosque shooting: Six killed, eight wounded: Was this terror attack a direct result of President Trump's recent measures against Muslim refugees?
  • Yes, I think so.

The shooting comes as Canada has vowed to open its arms to Muslims and refugees after US President Donald Trump’s controversial immigration ban Friday prompted travel chaos and outrage around the world. Other mosques in Canada have been targeted with racist graffiti in recent months. These kinds of killings are unsupportable by any sane person.

  • Yes, the Quebec City mosque shooting is a result of Trump's measures.

Yes, the killings at the mosque in Quebec City are related to the measures of the Trump Administration. He is endangering the lives of everybody everywhere. It's the same as attacks on Americans because of torture and Guantanamo Bay. Trump doesn't seem to understand that when you're the President of the United States, everything you say and do has an effect on not only citizens of the US, but citizens all over the world.

  • It wasn't in the United States.

The shooting was in Quebec City, which is in Canada. That doesn't have anything to do with what's happening in the United States. Trump doesn't control what people do in Quebec City, and there is no evidence that the latest immigration change was a motivator for the terrorism in the mosque in Quebec City.

  • No, blaming Trump is just an excuse.

First of all, this did not even happen in the U.S. Trump has no control over what happens in Canada. Second, Trump's actions have become a convenient excuse for both sides of the political spectrum. Those extremists who support Trump sometimes see his election as an excuse to commit heinous acts. But, those who are still whining about Clinton's loss to Trump are looking to attach blame to the president for anything that goes wrong in the world. I am surprised they have not accused him of being responsible for the extinction of some species of amoeba yet. Canada needs to take responsibility for its own issues internally and stop blaming other Trump.
