Yes, Russia's interest and interference in U.S. elections is a big cause for concern. It seems the number one question is raises is why are they so interested and what do they have to gain? Clearly they believe one candidate will be at the least more favorable toward them. At the most, they may already have a deal in place with one candidate or believe they can manipulate that individual. It's scary stuff!
Yes, Russia's interest and interference in the U.S. election is a major problem. Russia is trying to influence the election to show that can do whatever they want. Russia is trying to be a bully and maybe start the Cold War part 2. The only interest Russia has in the U.S. election is being agitator, nothing else.
Yes, Russia's interest and interference in U.S. elections is a cause for concern because they are behind the hacking of Clinton's emails. They want to monitor the election because they want Trump to win. It is unfair for them to have any say in who we pick as our president.
Right now, Putin wants the US to remove sanctions imposed on Russia after its annexation of Crimea in March 2014. Perhaps even more importantly, Russia has parliamentary elections this September, and presidential elections again in 2018, when Putin is expected to run for a fourth term. The Kremlin does not want a repeat of the protests of 2011-’12, and certainly no pronouncements from the US about whether the elections are free and fair or whether Putin has a genuine popular mandate for his next presidency. Against this backdrop, the information from the DNC files underscores for the Russian public, and the outside world, that US party politics is just as dirty as in Russia or anywhere else. The US looks a lot less credible as the moral authority on the conduct of elections.
The US meddles in the business of the entire world all the time and now when a country wants to do it to the US it's suddenly wrong and a cause for concern? Get over yourself you can't say it's wrong for them to interfere while still trying to play world police.
