Russian vs. Georgian justifications in 2008 South Ossetia war: Were Russia's (yes) or Georgia's (no) actions in the 2008 South Ossetia war legitimate?
  • No responses have been submitted.
  • Georgia was right.

Georgia was just trying to reclaim territory that was taken from them. They had legitimate reasons for taken action in the 2008 South Ossetia war. They were responding to attacks on peacekeepers and Russia was moving aggressive military units into the country. This is enough reason for Georgia to take action.

  • Indeed It is

I don't believe that everything has to be solved in war, would it be best to find a diplomatic way to talk about certain things or things that were misunderstood. It would be a great way so no more innocent life will be lost because of this at the same time discussion will be a good way to practice.
