There is a misspelling in the first sentence (callers).
Not only that, the question is inaccurate.
Clinton is not yet nominated.
The quote about disaster was said by Bernie's campaign manager, not Bernie himself.
And no one called it a disaster. "Courting disaster" was the actual term.
Below is the quote in full.
“The Democratic Party must decide if they want the candidate with the momentum who is best positioned to beat Trump, or if they are willing to roll the dice and court disaster simply to protect the status quo for the political and financial establishment of this country.”
Yes, Bernie Sanders is a better choice for Democratic nomination than Clinton. His track record on civil rights, social reforms, and environmental causes is far more consistent than hers, and he has not wavered on his stances over the course of his career the way she has. He is also less attached to big business and corporate entities than she is.
Sanders just does not have the experience at high-levels of government to get the job done. He has limited experience with foreign policy and his financial plans equate disaster for an economy built on capitalism. He would be a complete nightmare as if he was the choice for Democrats, it might move some to vote for Trump.
No , I do not think that Bernie Sanders is a better choice for the party because some of his views are seen as socialist. Sanders has been a great opponent to Clinton and has helped bring important issues to the limelight, but I believe that Clinton is the most qualified Democratic candidate and would make a better president.
