Should 3D printers be sold for everyone to use (yes) or should the government have control of them (no)?

  • Illegal alcohols? Guns? NO

In Japan, a man had a gun that was made out of a 3D printer. Like this, we can easily make weapons in our house if we have a 3D printer. Furthermore, we can even make illegal alcohols. For example, professional science and medical reporter, Mike Power said t¢¢¥At we will be able to make necrotic easily in home

  • Yes, 3d printers should be available for everyone to use.

There is no reason that 3d printers should only be allowed or limited to the government. These printers should be allowed to be purchased and used by all people that can afford them. This is a public technology that cannot be restricted to only the government in my strong opinion.

  • No Government Control

It is not necessary for the government to control 3D printers. The government has enough problems keeping confidential information inside of the United States because of the likes of people such as Edward Snowden and Internet platforms such as Wikileaks. The 3D printers are only hardware and is not secretive

  • Risk of lethal weapons

If it is publicly available, it can be misused to create lethal weapons, toxic agents, spying devices etc. I agree that 3D printers will bring a lot of economic development and government should take up the task of licensing and controlling it. Do not ask me 50 words. Shorter the message, more powerful it will be

  • Guns? Weapons? Bombs?

What if gangsters and other dangerous people make untraceable guns and other weapons with it? I know it sounds cool being able to print 3d objects but if the government doesn't control, or at least monitor, the use of them, what's stopping bad people from just walking into a store and buying one to increase their chance to get away with killing people?
