Should all teenagers get free driver's education classes?

  • Drivers training should be free because, some parents don't have the money to pay for how much it cost.

Drivers Training is so expensive its hard to pay for and parents don't have the money. To sit in a class room for two hours and learn about the laws you have to pay 250 dollars. Its ridiculous to pay that much and take one road test. The opinion in some people is make it free or lower the price.

  • We can't all get around

As of a small (but yet still large) amount of 14 to 16 Year Olds, not all can get to and from a location of availability for driving education information. A ton of young people want to have the education for their driving test and future but this is just not close enough or easy to get to at all.

  • All teenagers should get free driver's education classes.

Driving is an important skill for all people and it should be taught in public schools. If teens are given drivers' education classes, there will be fewer automotive accidents and everyone will be safer. Safety should come first, and we should implement policies that will make the roads safer for everyone.

  • It should be a part of their course of study

Yes, I believe that all teenagers should be afforded the opportunity to receive driver's education. It is unfair that parents that have more money and are able to pay for the course are the only students that receive this training. I also believe providing this course will make our teenagers better and more responsible drivers.

  • Yes they should.

All teenagers should be able to get free drivers education classes I think doing this would allow more teenagers into the class itself giving them a better chance of understanding the traffic laws and having someone to drive with before they try and get their license. It would be a great idea.

  • No, not if it's behind the wheel training.

It is fine to have driver's education included in the book learning part of the curriculum so that the written task can be passed. But behind the wheel training takes a lot of money that many school districts do not have and can not burden their citizens with through higher taxes.

  • Driving is not a right.

No, all teens should not get free driver's education classes, because driving is not a right. The constitution affords us all a free education. Other things, such as driver's education courses, along with health care and the Internet, are not something that we have a right to. If someone wants to learn how to drive, they can take lessons.
