Should America have retained its neutrality throughout the 1900s and now?

  • Neutrality Helped Create the Great Depression

    Neutrality in the early 1900's could be part of what caused the Great Depression. Total neutrality means not trading or negotiating with other countries, which does not lead to to prosperity. But then, in WWII, the isolationalism of the U.S. ended when we began to fight/ally with other nations, and the Depression ended with it.
